Peter Busch and John Lohn Discuss Possible Aftermath of World Championships on The Morning Swim Show, August 7, 2009

PHOENIX, Arizona, August 7. THE aftermath of the multitude of world records set at the 2009 FINA world championships is yet to be realized, but Peter Busch and John Lohn offer their thoughts on what the future of swimming will be on today's interview segment of The Morning Swim Show.

Busch and Lohn talk about the way the phenomenon of setting a world record was diluted by the end of the world championships and how the new suit regulations might cause a year-end rush of fast swimming. They also discuss the media's attention to the sport and whether a scaled-back swimsuit will decrease mainstream interest in the sport, as well as how it will affect college swimming in the United States.
