Petar Stoychev, Stefanie Biller Win Ohrid Stop of FINA Open Water Grand Prix

OHRID, Macedonia, July 21. PETAR Stoychev of Bulgaria and Stefanie Biller of Germany won their respective races at the Ohrid stop of the FINA Open Water Grand Prix this weekend.

Stoychev checked in with a time of 6:14:51 in the 30K event, while Brendan Capell of Australia finished second in 6:14:53.29. Capell took second by way of a touch-out battle with France's Stephane Gomez, who finished third in 6:14:53.50. Hometown favorite Tomi Stefanoski placed fourth just behind in 6:14:53.70.

Biller cruised in the women's race with a time of 6:15:58. That was her first win of the series after taking third in Capri and Napoli. Spain's Esther Nunez Morera touched second in 6:23:37, while Shelley Clark of Australia placed third in 6:35:21.
