Performance of the Week: July 24, 2012

PHOENIX, Arizona, July 24. OVER the past two weeks we've seen a few national age group records fall across the country, but none more impressive than what Carson Foster pulled off last weekend at the Ohio Junior Olympics. The 10-year-old from the Cincinnati Marlins became the youngest person to go under 30 seconds in the 50 long course butterfly with a 29.91, then broke the only national age group record Michael Phelps owned in the 10-and-under age group, swimming a 1:07.24 in the 100 fly, breaking the Phelps record by more than a second.

Congratulations, Carson, you've won our Performance of the Week!
