Harlow is a four time individual and six time relay state high school champion as well as the 200 IM state record holder.

Harlow shared,

“The coaches and athletes at Penn State have been very open with me throughout my entire recruiting process. They made me feel right at home while visiting. Penn State offers unmatched academic and athletic traditions and I can’t wait to become part of the Nittany Lion family. WE ARE!”

His best times are:

  • 100 Breast 56.77
  • 200 Breast 2:03.24
  • 200 IM 1:50.44
  • 400 IM 3:58.19
  • 200 Fly 1:52.77
  • 100 Free 46.58

At Junior Nationals this summer Harlow swam the 100 and 200 breaststroke in addition to the 200 IM. Michael Kwasnik and Gunther Cassell led Penn State’s breaststroke group last season. Timothy Maurer was the Nittany Lions’ only scorer in the 200 IM at Big 10s last year.
