Pacific Tops Two California Teams

STOCKTON, California, January 20. THE Pacific women defeated UC Davis by a score of 167-90 and Cal Poly by a score of 182-74 on senior day at Chris Kjeldsen Pool on Saturday, January 20. With the win the Tigers moved to 5-1 in dual meets on the season.

Junior Ja-Neil Bragg (Manteca, Calif.) led the way for Pacific by winning the 1000 Free (10:06.55), the 50 Free (24.14), and the 200 IM (2:02.63).

Freshman Brooke Cashion (Irvine, Calif.), sophomore Jun Huang (Guangzhou, China), and junior Kristin Okazaki (Auburn, Wash.) each won two events a piece as well. Cashion won the 500 Free with a time of 5:03.99 and the 200 Free with a time of 1:52.93; Huang finished first in the 100 Back and the 200 Back with times of 57.04 and 2:01.10; and Okazaki touched first in the 100 Fly with a time of 57.68 and the 200 Fly with a time of 2:03.89.

The Tigers will be back in action on February 3 when they take on University of California – Santa Barbara in Santa Barbara, Calif. at 11:00 a.m.
