It has been 13 years since the Arizona State men’s swim team defeated USC. But in a meet so close, it was originally scored a tie before a scoring glitch was figured out, the No. 24 Sun Devils continued their undefeated season at No. 14 USC with a 156.50-142.50 victory. Meanwhile, the No. 5 USC women won 169-104.

Bob Bowman has definitely played a huge role in the turnaround of the Sun Devils and this team is going to continue to turn heads all season.

The Pac-12 is seemingly full of surprises this year as Arizona State and Washington State have ended long winless droughts against certain conference opponents. It all adds up to more parity and what could be a conference meet more exciting than originally anticipated.

USC then swept Arizona to complete an impressive weekend in the Pac-12.

Here are some highlights:

Patrick Mulcare won two events to lead the Trojans.

Actually the final score for the men was ASU 156.5 USC 142.5. The correction was due to an error in scoring the diving section of the meet. This is the first time ASU men have defeated USC since 2003.
