Omaha to Bid for 2012 U.S. Olympic Diving Trials

OMAHA, Nebraska, January 9. ACCORDING to a report by KPTM 42 News in Nebraska, Omaha is hungry for more, even though the city has yet to host the 2008 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials.

The report states that Omaha Sports Commission organizers will look to host the 2012 U.S. Olympic Diving Trials as well as the city works to become a key destination for major sporting events in the country.

Having cities continually vie to host aquatics sports championship events can only help each sport as competition rises.
