Olympic Gold Medalist Conor Dwyer Joins Team Speedo

LOS ANGELES, California, May 8. SPEEDO USA, a division of PVH Corp. (NYSE: PVH), today announced that 24-year-old rising swim star Conor Dwyer has signed a multi-year agreement with the company through 2016. Dwyer, one of the stars of Team USA, made his Olympic debut in London and won gold as part of the history-making 4x200m Freestyle Relay at the 2012 Summer Games. The versatile swimmer joins Team Speedo with his sights set on the 15th FINA World Championships in Barcelona, Spain where he hopes to represent the USA in the freestyle and medley events and relays.

The University of Florida graduate finished a decorated collegiate swim career in 2011 with twelve All-American honors, three NCAA titles, one NCAA Swimmer of the Year and two SEC Swimmer of the Year awards. Dwyer, who is an Illinois native, continues to live and train in Florida under UF Head Coach Gregg Troy and alongside fellow Gator alum and Olympic teammate Ryan Lochte.

Dwyer won his career-first U.S. National title at the 2011 ConocoPhillips National Championships in the 200m IM; later that year, Dwyer won gold as part of the 4x200m Freestyle Relay team at the 2011 FINA World Championships in Shanghai and took home four medals at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara. He qualified for the 2012 Olympic team by finishing second in the 400m free and fourth in the 200m free, recording personal best times in both, at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Swim Trials in Omaha.

As part of Team Speedo USA, Dwyer will be part of an athlete advisory group to the SPEEDO Aqualab, the brand's research and development center, and will train and compete in Speedo suits, accessories and related gear.

Team Speedo swimmers include Olympic Medalists Michael Phelps (USA), Natalie Coughlin (USA), Ryan Lochte (USA), Dana Vollmer (USA), Nathan Adrian (USA), Cullen Jones (USA), Tyler Clary (USA), Eamon Sullivan (AUS), Park Tae Hwan (KOR), and Rebecca Adlington (GBR).
