Ohio High School State Champ Julia Moran To Join Brother at Kenyon

Ohio State High School Champion, Julia Moran, has commited to Kenyon College. Julia is a senior at Ursuline Academy in Cincinnati and club swims for the Mercy Healthplex Seawolves and Coach Aaron Dorfman. Julia helped Ursuline earn the ’14 Girls Division 1 State Title and anchored the State Championship medley relay. She is a GGCL All-Star, a Cincinnati Enquirer All-Star and a multi-event State Finalist in her first three years for Ursuline. Julia is a multi-sport athlete and a former GGCL and Cincinnati Enquirer All-Star in golf. She earned Ursuline’s Scholar Athlete award given to the multi-sport athlete with the highest GPA. She is also member of the National Honor Society. Julia is a freestyler and a backstroker. Her top times are:

Julia is excited to join her brother, Liam, who is a sophomore swimmer for the Lords. She looks forward to training under Head Coach, Jess Book and Assistants, Fernando Rodriguez and Doug Lennox. Julia will add depth to the Ladies’ freestyle group. Her times in the 100 and 200 Free are inside the Division III ’17 NCAA B standards and her 200 Free time was inside the ’16 NCAA invite time standard. Julia adds, “I am thrilled to be a part of such an amazing school and team. Go Ladies!” Kenyon swimming and diving has a rich tradition of excellence. They have earned 34 Men’s and 23 Women’s NCAA Titles as well 58 NCAA post-graduate scholarships.
