Brown is in his 19th year with the Sarasota Sharks, based out of Sarasota, Florida. In that time, he has coached every age group on the team and was named 1998 Florida Swim Coaches Age Group Coach of the Year. In 2011, Brown won the ASCA Award of Excellence.
