PHOENIX, Arizona, April 3. SWIMMING is a lifelong sport. To continue swimming fast for as long as possible, there are a few things swimmers need to take into consideration as they get older.

ON THE COVER: A bout with prostate cancer was not going to keep Bob Strand down. Less than six months after surgery to remove the tumor, he was back in the pool, setting FINA Masters world records for men 65-69.
