Noè Ponti & Roman Mityukov Spearhead Swiss Team for European Championships
Noè Ponti and Roman Mityukov headline the Switzerland team for the European Championships in Paris.
The pair share Olympic and world medals but have yet to top the podium in the continental long-course pool.
Ponti has come closest with 100 fly silver at Roma 2022 despite being diagnosed with bronchial asthma after testing positive for Covid-19 following his return from the World Championships in Budapest.
Mityukov won 200 back bronze at the 2020 edition which was delayed a year until 2021 because of the Covid pandemic and at Belgrade 2024.
The pool programme runs from 10-16 August at the Olympic Aquatic Center in the French capital,
