NCAA Women’s Championships: Louisville Aims For Sprint Success (Day 2 Heat Sheets)

The 2024 NCAA Women’s Division I Swimming and Diving Championships will continue from Athens, Georgia, with the Day 2 preliminary sessions.

The session begins at 10 a.m. ET and will consist of the 500 freestyle, 200 IM and 50 freestyle before 1-meter diving prelims.

Heat Sheets

There will be eight NCAA heats of the 500 freestyle.

The top seed in the 500 freestyle is Flordia’s Bella Sims, who led off the winning 800 free relay on Day 1 for the Gators.

She will be flanked by Stanford’s Aurora Roghair and Arizona State’s Lindsay Looney in the eighth and final heat.

Host Georgia has the No. 2 overall seed in Rachel Stege and she will be flanked by teammates Dune Coetzee and Abby McCulloh in the seventh heat.

Florida’s Emma Weyant is the third seed and will be in Lane 4 for the sixth heat.

There will be nine heats of the 200 IM.

Virginia senior Alex Walsh is the top seed and will be in the ninth heat, flanked by teammate Ella Nelson and Texas fifth-year Kelly Pash.

Florida’s Isabel Ivey and Tennessee’s Josephine Fuller are each anchoring seeded heats as well.

There will be eight NCAA heats of the 50 freestyle.

Record-holder Gretchen Walsh is the top seed and will be flanked by Louisville’s Julia Dennis and Christiana Regenauer in the eighth heat.

Virginia’s Jasmine Nocentini is the second seed and Katharine Berkoff of NC State the third, while Louisville’s Gabi Albiero will look to make a move in the seventh heat.
