NC State Announces Four More Women’s Signees

RALEIGH, North Carolina, May 17. ASSOCIATE head coach Christopher "Woody" Woodard announced today that Hannah Collins, Olivia Evans, Mary Gerloff and Lauren Poli will join the NC State women's swimming and diving program for the 2011-12 season.

They join December signee's Hannah Freyman, Kayla Grim, Nicole Haynes, Shelby Hoyt, Rachel Mumma, Katelyn Linker, Susan Raichle, Ashley Reid and Siri Smits.

"We are extremely pleased to have this very deep and talented class of women join our program," said Woodard. "They have the potential to make an immediate impact within the conference and beyond. It represents a lot of hard work on the part of our staff, particularly associate women's head coach Jacqui McLaughlin."

Collins, out of North Augusta, S.C., will transfer in from Clemson where she was team rookie of the year in 2010-11. A four-time Scholastic All-American, she qualified for NCSA junior nationals, senior nationals (short course) and summer junior nationals (long course meters).
