COLLEGE PARK – A day after taking the 11-12 national age group record in the 200-yard medley relay at the Speedo Tom Dolan Invitational, the same foursome from Nation’s Capital Swim Club broke the record in the 400 medley relay in today’s competition.

Ryan Catron (55.87 backstroke), Darius Truong (1:05.39 breaststroke), Leo Goldblatt (56.17 butterfly) and Brett Feyerick (52.90 freestyle) combined for a 3:50.33. That’s faster than the 3:52.10 that a squad from Nation’s Capital swam earlier this year, a group that included Catron, Truong and Goldblatt, who swam freestyle in that relay.

That brings the national age group record total at the Tom Dolan Invitational to eight, including one earlier in the afternoon session from the NCAP 11-12 girls in the 200 freestyle relay.
