National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics National Championships: Cal Baptist Leads Team Races After Day One

ST. PETERS, Missouri, March 2. THE initial day of competition at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Championships featured divers on full display.

Concordia's Christine Runkle won the women's one-meter diving title with 259.70 points, while Cal Baptist's Jamie Flynn placed second with 247.05 points. Azusa Pacific's Elizabeth Dotson took third with 211.40 points.

Cal Baptist took an early lead with 44 points in the women's team race with Azusa Pacific (31) and Concordia (20) standing second and third.

CBU's Trevor Graifman cruised to the men's three-meter title with 342.20 points. Lindenwood's Colin Sharpe took second with 319.70 points, while Illinois Tech's Ian McNair wound up third with 275.50 points.

Cal Baptist finished the day in first with 32 points among the men, while Lindenwood (17) and Illinois Tech (16) stood second and third heading into the first day of swimming tomorrow.
