Morning Swim Show: Whether Future Olympians or Masters, Stu Kahn Loves Coaching

PHOENIX, Arizona, April 8. STU Kahn joins today's edition of The Morning Swim Show as part of our special Masters Monday series of shows in April.

Kahn, the head coach at Davis Aquatic Masters, received coach of the year honors from U.S. Masters Swimming in 2012, and he talks about the emotion of winning the award, and what it meant to his swimmers. He talks about his evolution from coaching age group swimmers to working with Masters swimmers, and what it's been like to work with some of his former age group swimmers now on the Masters team. Kahn worked with legend Matt Biondi during Biondi's formative years, and he talks about the things he did as a coach then that apply to coaching now. One of his famous drills involves swimmers looking at their shadows to correct their strokes, a concept he said works to amazing effect. Be sure to visit SwimmingWorld.TV for more video interviews.
