Morning Swim Show: Ivy Martin Taking Big 10 Success to NCAAs

PHOENIX, Arizona, March 4. ON today's edition of The Morning Swim Show Wisconsin sophomore Ivy Martin talks about the thrill of breaking 22 seconds in the 50 freestyle at the Big 10 championships.

Martin says in this episode that she had an idea that she could break the 22-second barrier, but cannot believe that she is likely to go into the NCAA championships as the second-fastest in the event. She's made huge strides in her sophomore year, and she owes it to getting past the tough transition into college swimming last year, when she was doing more weightlifting and harder workouts. She talks about working with head coach Whitney Hite and what it will be like to race at the NCAAs. Be sure to visit SwimmingWorld.TV for more video interviews.
