Morning Swim Show: Ian McAllister Tells Untold Story of The “Lost Olympics”

PHOENIX, Arizona, January 7. TODAY’S edition of The Morning Swim Show features a chat with author Ian McAllister, who spoke about his new book “Lost Olympics.”

McAllister has a very close connection with Hilda James, the subject of his book. He talks about that connection and the stories he learned from James before her passing in 1982. One of those stories involved James bringing the front crawl, or freestyle, stroke to the United Kingdom after learning it from the Americans at the 1920 Olympics. He also details some of the memorabilia from her, as well as her 1920 Olympic medal! Be sure to visit SwimmingWorld.TV for more video interviews.
