Plumb gave a talk to the coaches in Florida about his philosophy behind dryland training in Indiana and how he and his staff work on getting his athletes ready to start lifting weights as teenagers. He gives a large amount of credit to fellow coach Vern Gambetta, who came to make adjustments to the team’s dryland program and has resulted in very few injuries and has created success that includes the Swimming World Magazine girls’ high school team championship.
