Monmouth Barracudas Looking for Pool Time Help Following Air Handler Collapse

NEPTUNE TOWNSHIP, New Jersey, October 22. THIS weekend, Swimming World reported news of an air handler collapse at the Neptune Aquatic Center during warmup of a local meet held at the facility.

Monmouth Barracudas head coach Paul Buerck, however, is looking for help from area teams to house his swimmers until the club can find other suitable locations for training. He’s sent out the following letting asking for help:

The Monmouth Barracudas are looking for any available pool time in the evening close to Monmouth County

We would appreciate any offers and have flexibility

In what could have been a tragic situation, we are blessed that no one was injured.

Thank you to all the tremendous coaches from NJRC, CJAC, TAC, PTAC, JG, RBY for their quick action in ensuring all the swimmers’ safety without regard to their own safety. They are all heroes in our eyes and we Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you did in the situation.
