Miriam Sheehan, 10, succeeded in adding yet another National Age Group record to her collection this morning during prelims of the 2015 Arizona Swimming Age Group State Champs. Sheehan turned in a 1:08.22 in the 100-meter fly to down Joy Jiang’s time of 1:08.67 from 2014.

Tonight Sheehan will return to finals in hopes of lowering the National Age Group record time yet again.

The 100-meter fly will be the fourth individual event Sheehan has claimed since May when she downed the 50-meter fly. Success continued for Sheehan when she bested her own 50-meter back NAG with a time of 32.30.

Later that month Sheehan overturned her own 50-fly NAG and took down Elizabeth Beisel’s 100-meter back NAG from 2003 over the course of a weekend.
