Michigan State Champ Georgia Mosher Gives Verbal Commit to Ohio State

Georgia Mosher has announced her verbal commitment to swim for Ohio State, according to her Twitter account. Mosher swims for Club Wolverine where she is primarily a distance freestyler and also a strong breaststroke.

Her best times are:

  • 500 Free 4:49.23
  • 1000 Free 9:55.94
  • 1650 Free 16:43.75
  • 100 Breast 1:04.59
  • 200 Breast 2:16.69

Swimming for Skyline High School at the 2017 Michigan Lower Peninsula Girls High School state championship Mosher was the 500 freestyle state champion.

At the 2017 Big Ten Championships Mosher would have finished 23rd in the 1650. Only Lindsay Clary (15:58.29), Molly Kowal (16:02.35), and Kathleen Cook (16:37.11) finished higher for the Buckeyes this year. Mosher is also just a few seconds outside conference scoring range in the 500 freestyle and the 200 breaststroke.
