Kate Krolikowski has given her verbal commitment to the University of Michigan. She lives in Irvine, CA and swims for Aquazot Swim Club where she is a great IMer and middle distance freestyler.

She told Swimming World,

“I chose Michigan, because I immediately felt at home, and loved all of the coaches, swimmers, and staff. The team atmosphere and spirit is incredible, and I know that Coach Bottom, Coach Bishop, and Coach Brager will help me excel in swimming these next four years. Besides swimming at the highest levels, I will receive a world class education. I’m so excited to be a wolverine and GO BLUE!”

Krolikowski’s best times are:

  • 100 Free 49.77
  • 200 Free 1:45.96
  • 500 Free 4:47.54
  • 200 IM 2:01.49
  • 400 IM 4:16.81

Last year the USA Swimming Scholastic All-American was the California CIF Southern Division 1 Section champ in the 500 free and runner up in the 200. She attends Woodbridge High School. At US Open this summer, Krolikowski finished as high as 15th, touching in 2:16.04 in the 200 butterfly.

At the 2016 Big Ten Championships, Krolikowski would have been a 400 IM B finalist, and a C finalist in the 100 and 500 adding to the point totals for the title winning Wolverines.
