Michael Phelps and Nicole Johnson held their official wedding ceremony on October 29, 2016 while away at a beach location.

The two shared their joy by posting photo announcements to their Instagram accounts in the early morning of October 30th.

2016 has been a whirlwind year of excitement for the couple as they welcomed their son, Boomer Robert Phelps, in May before Phelps added another five gold and one silver medal to his ever-impressive collection of Olympic medals while at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
