Michael Phelps Concludes NBAC Christmas Meet Swims

ANNAPOLIS, Maryland, December 13. THIS weekend, Michael Phelps gave fans and swimmers alike something to remember by participating in the NBAC Christmas Meet held in Annapolis, Md. The meet took place over short course yards.

After winning four titles the first two days, Phelps dialed it back a notch and just swam in the 200 fly finale this evening. Phelps won the race going away with a 1:42.29, and split the race 22.85, 25.89, 26.46 and 27.09. Compared to the first two nights where he took it relatively easy, tonight Phelps was expending plenty of effort. According to a source at the event, Phelps definitely looked wiped out after the swim.

That's not a bad time considering his training schedule. His best time is the top in the event with a 1:39.70 set while swimming for Club Wolverine back in 2006.
