Bob Bowman‘s Arizona State Sun Devils have added Meghan Burton to the Class of 2021. Burton swims for NOVA of Virginia Aquatics and attends Trinity Episcopal High School. The high school senior is a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.

Burton shared,

“All around the school is just amazing. From the moment I got on campus It felt like I was at home. The team is amazing. The coaches are amazing. Everything is amazing. I am just so excited to become a Sun Devil next year!”

Her best times are:

  • 50 Back 26.38
  • 100 Back 56.38
  • 200 Back 2:02.49
  • 100 Fly 55.36
  • 50 Free 24.31
  • 100 Free 52.68

Arizona State was eighth at the 2016 Pac 12 Conference Championships. Last year the Sun Devils had one woman score in the 200 backstroke and two put up points in the 100 backstroke. With her best time Burton would have snuck into the 100 backstroke C final last year. In the 100 butterfly, Burton would have been in a three way tie for 24th at last year’s meet. Senior Marina Spadoni finished 16th in that event last year.
