CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia, October 6. Megan Moroney, Collegeswimming.com‘s second-ranked recruit in the state of Florida and 11th overall in the class of 2015, will continue her swimming career next year at the University of Virginia.

Moroney attends Saint Andrew’s School and trains with Saint Andrew’s Swimming in Boca Raton, where she’s posted several impressive times. Some of her top swims include a 49.51 in the 100 free, 1:46.01 in the 200 free, 4:49.83 in the 500 free, 53.96 in the 100 back and 53.14 in the 100 fly.

Moroney’s times would already make a big impact at the ACC Championships, as her 100 fly time would’ve placed third and her 200 free fifth at last year’s meet. Her 500 free time would’ve also made the B final.
