NEW COMMIT: Logan Theiss, a senior from Belleville, Illinois, has given his verbal commitment to swim for McKendree University beginning next fall. Theiss is a senior at Belleville East High School and does his club swimming with Seahwaks Swim Club.
His best times are:
- 50 Back 23.60
- 100 Back 50.07
- 200 Back 1:53.05
- 50 Free 21.84
- 200 IM 1:56.09
- 100 Fly 51.39
Theiss is a three time Illinois High School state championships qualifier. While swimming for YMCA of Southwest Illinois he was a YMCA Nationals qualifier. Moving into the GLVC, Theiss’ best time in the 100 back already places him in the Conference Championship A final.
He said of his decision,
“Very excited to announce my verbal commitment to McKendree University! I know that Coach Tierney and the rest of the university will be able to help me be the best I can be in and out of the pool. Go Bearcats!!!”
