PARANA, February 6. THE Maraton Internacional Hernandarias – Parana, the longest FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix race and one of the world’s top open water swims, that takes swimmers 88 kilometers from the city Hernandarias to Parana in Argentina was cancelled due to an unanticipated storm.

The 54.6-mile professional marathon swim was modified to a 5K spring race scheduled for Monday based on the latest discussions among the swimmers and race director.
