Mallory Weggemann Downs World Record at CanAm Open Championships; Plenty of Other Records Fall As Well

LA MIRADA, California, December 10. MALLORY Weggemann, a two-time Swimming World Female World Disabled Swimmer of the Year, downed the world record in the women's 800 LCM freestyle S7 event at the CanAm Open Championships.

Weggemann clocked an 11:14.35 in the distance event, that smashed the previous record of 11:21.66 set by New Zealand's Rebecca Dubber in 2010.
