Loyola Marymount University Earns Commitment from Bailey Woinarowicz
NEW COMMIT: Yorba Linda, Calif. native Bailey Woinarowicz has announced her commitment to Loyola Marymount University and will suit up for the Lions in the fall of 2020.
She told Swimming World:
“I am so excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Loyola Marymount University! I immediately knew when I stepped on campus that LMU would be my next home. It has been a dream of mine to swim in college since I was 10, and I’m so excited to be able to swim for LMU. I would like to thank my teachers, coaches, counselors, and parents for getting me to this point. Go Lions!”
Primarily a freestyler, Woinarowicz does her club swimming with Coto Golf & Racquet Club and earned a best time at the 2018 SBCA Winter Age Group Championships. Also competing for Santa Margarita Catholic, she earned bronze in both the 200 free and 500 free at the Trinity League Championships last spring.
Her best times include:
- 50 free – 26.78
- 100 free – 57.82
- 200 free – 2:03.76
- 500 free – 5:30.70
