USC junior Louise Hansson also made it 2-for-2 on Friday, winning the 100 fly in 49.34 at the Pac-12 Women’s Championships, breaking the NCAA record set by Kelsi Worrell in 2016 of 49.43.

Hansson has set up a huge matchup for the NCAA Championships in three weeks as she will battle Michigan’s Maggie MacNeil and Tennessee’s Erika Brown for the title. MacNeil and Brown are third and fourth all-time.

Hansson won the 200 IM on Thursday, an event she decided on in the last minute. She kept up the pace in the fly and dropped more than a half second from her prelim time.

Cal’s Katie McLaughlin finished second in 50.67, followed by teammate Izzy Ivey (51.15).

Arizona’s Mackenzie Rumrill was fourth (52.10), followed by USC’s Jemma Schlicht (52.13), Maddie Wright (52.34) and Caitlyn Tycz (52.47). Utah’s Arya Fernandes was eighth (52.52).
