Lock Haven vs. Mansfield

MANSFIELD, Pennsylvania, October 29. THE Lock Haven University swim team won nine of 13 events tonight at Mansfield University as the Lady Eagles picked up the impressive 131-92 win.

Lock Haven head coach Andy Waeger couldn't be happier with where his Lady Eagles are just two weeks into the season.

Leading the way for LHU was Britt Rehrig (Wilmington, Del./Charter School of Wilmington), who was a double-winner for The Haven. She won 100 breaststroke (1:08.79) and 200 IM (2:17.70).

The 100 breaststroke was a big event for Lady Eagles as they went 1-2-3 to set the tone for the meet in just the second event of the night.

Returning conference champion and multiple All-American Amanda Terray (Coaldale, Pa./Panther Valley) kicked off the night with a win in the 100 backstroke.

Her time of 1:01.37 was good enough for the victory, which put LHU up to stay as The Haven cruised to the win form the night's opening race.

Rehrig also led a Haven 1-2-3 finish in the 200 IM.

Sam Durham (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville) was also a double-winner for Lock Haven.

The junior won both the 50 (25.53) and 100 (55.41) freestyle events.

Lock Haven is back in action next Saturday, November 6 at 1 p.m. when LHU hosts East Stroudsburg.
