La Mirada Armada Early Signing List Grows for Class of 2018

Six La Mirada Armada senior swimmers have committed as student-athletes to schools around the country. The six student-athletes are Katie SulkevichLavona HarperBianca PreciadoNoelle FimbresDavid Wang, and Michael Lee.

Katie will be staying close to home next year as she pursues her education and swimming at UCLA in Westwood. Katie will be a large addition to the Bruin distance program and will be relied upon heavily to score points in the PAC 12 conference and NCAAs.

Lavona Harper

Lavona will be going Ivy League next year as she attends prestigious Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Lavona will be asked to bolster the Cornell middle distance program and their backstroke group. Lavona is a top students at Sonora high school and Cornell is a great fit for her.

Bianca Preciado

Bianca will be attending the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California next fall. Bianca will be a vital part of their sprint fly and breaststroke corp and a top performer in the West Coast Conference.

Noelle Fimbres

Noelle will move to our nation’s capital in the fall. Noelle will be pursuing her education and swimming success as a member of Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Noelle will be a valuable addition to the Bulldogs middle distance and distance freestyle program as she competes in the Big East.

David Wang

David will join teammate Lavona Harper as a New York resident and Ivy League student athlete in 2018. David has committed to Columbia University in New York City, where he will be a welcome addition to their middle-distance program. David is a very versatile swimmer and great students who will do well as a Columbia Lion.

Michael Lee

Michael has committed to the Claremont Harvey Mudd Stags and will be staying close to home next year. An outstanding student and excellent distance swimmer, Michael will be a standout performer in the SCIAC conference.
