Junior National Qualifier Jack Haley Sends 2025 Verbal to Northwestern

NEW COMMIT: Northwestern University has received a verbal commitment for the 2025-25 season and beyond from Junior National qualifier Jack Haley of New Canaan, Connecticut.

He told Swimming World:

“I’m super excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Northwestern University! Thank you to my family, friends, and coaches for supporting me on my journey. Go Wildcats!”

Haley does his club swimming with Chelsea Piers Aquatic Club and earned three best times at NCSA Championships this past summer where he placed 23rd in the 400m IM and 26th in the 200m IM. He also finaled in the 400m free at NCSA Spring Championships.

His best times include:

  • 100 fly – 51.34
  • 200 fly – 1:48.78
  • 200 IM – 1:52.62
  • 400 IM – 3:58.53
  • 200 free – 1:40.00

Currently a junior at New Canaan High School, Haley placed second in the 200 free and fourth in the 500 free at the Connecticut State Championships as a freshman. He won both of those events at the Class L Championships, too.
