After helping Texas to its fourth-straight NCAA Championship, 2016 Olympic Champion Joseph Schooling has announced that he is going pro. The Singaporean swimmer did not waste any time as he has already announced his partnership with Hugo Boss, a German luxury fashion brand.

Schooling is the first Singaporean ambassador for the company and he has already collaborated with the brand on a capsule collection to be released May 25. Leading up to the release date, Hugo Boss is revealing a series of short videos featuring Schooling. The full video will be shown on the 25th at The Shopped at Marina Bay Sands.

“It is a tremendous honour to be part of such an iconic brand,” Schooling said to Channel News Asia. “(Its) focus on quality and authenticity resonates with me on a personal level. Looking back, I would say I can be proud of my amateur career in general.”

The brand is equally as excited to have schooling on board, crediting his approach to success:

“As a youthful talent with a relentless drive for success, he is a perfect fit for the brand,” said Steven Lam, managing director of Hugo Boss in Southeast Asia. “His path to victory is a continual, ever-evolving journey that he approaches with dedication, precision and confidence.”

Schooling said that this partnership will be the first of many in now-professional swimming career. He is expected to announce them in the upcoming weeks.
