USA Swimming has announced the 12 members of the 2016-2017 Open Water National Team.

Olympic qualifiers Haley Anderson, Sean Ryan, and Jordan Wilimovsky lead the team.

Andrew Gemmell, the 10K national champion is also on the men’s team, as is National Champion Ashley Twichell on the women’s.

The other three men are Alex Meyer, Brendan Casey, and David Heron.

Emily Brunemann, Eva Fabian, Stephanie Peacock, and Taylor Pike complete the women’s roster. Pike will represent the U.S. in the 7.5K at the 2016 FINA World Junior Open Water Championships in July.

The team is determined by first including the 2016 Open Water Olympic Team. Then, the remaining openings go to the the top finishers at the 2016 10K Open Water National Championships, to create a 12 person roster with six men and six women.

The Open Water National Junior Team will not be named until September.
