Jersey Wahoos Create Special Caps to Benefit Komen Foundation

MT. LAUREL, New Jersey, October 26. THE Jersey Wahoos Booster Club has raised more than $1,100 from the creation and sale of 300 white swim caps featuring the breast cancer pink ribbon. The proceeds from the sale of the swim caps will benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Central & South Jersey Affiliate in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

"With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we thought this would be a wonderful charity to get our booster club involved with," Rick Ehrlich, President of the Jersey Wahoos Booster Club, said. "Since the 2006/07 swim season just started, we wanted to provide the Jersey Wahoos with a new and unique swim cap, show our support for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Central & South Jersey Affiliate and stay true to our mission of helping to build and develop high ideas of character."
