Jeffco Hurricanes’ Anna Austin Verbally Commits to Idaho Vandals

NEW COMMIT: The University of Idaho has received their first verbal commitment for the 2018-2019 season, a pledge from Anna Austin. Austin is from Arvada, Colorado where she is a senior at Ralston Valley High School. Austin only swam for the school team in her freshman year, and has focused on her training with the Jeffco Hurricanes throughout the rest of high school.

Austin is fairly versatile, but is strongest in fly and free. Her top times include:

Austin is a Futures Qualifier. Last spring at Speedo Sectionals in Lewisville, Texas, Austin was a member of the Jeffco Hurricanes’ team that won the Sectionals title.

Austin told Swimming World,

“Super excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim at the University of Idaho! Can’t wait to be a part of such a fun team! Go Vandals!!”

Her Jeffco Hurricanes teammate Elizabeth Wompey has also made a verbal commitment, her’s to Youngstown State.
