Italian Foursome Break Masters Relay World Record In Turin

TURIN, Italy, February 18. SWIMMING at the Italian regional Masters championships on Sunday, a foursome from the Sisport Fiat swim team set a long course Masters world record in the mixed 400 medley relay for the 100-119 age group.
With a time of 4:24.28, the Sisport Fiat team broke the world mark of 4:29.30 from the German team SGS Hannover in 2011. Matthew Zamorani kicked things off with a 1:05.70 backstroke leg, then handed it over to Anna Pasero, who clocked a 1:16.98 breaststroke split. Yojan Garcia kept the record pace going with a swift 58.74 butterfly leg and Daniella Gigantiello wrapped it up with a 1:02.86 freestyle leg.
