Isabella Germosen of Radiant Aquatics Commits to Barton College
NEW COMMIT: Barton College has received a new commitment for the 2021-22 season and beyond from Isabella Germosen of Largo, Fla.
She told Swimming World:
“I am extremely excited to announce my official commitment to Barton College to continue my academic and athletic career. I am thankful for the support and help I received from my family, coaches and friends to reach these goals now!”
Germosen does her club swimming with Radiant Aquatics and most recently earned a best time at the SYS Memorial Meet in May after recording four top-15 finishes at the Schroeder Distance Meet. She was also a three-time finalist at the Area 3 Championships in February 2020.
Her best times include:
- 100 free – 58.50
- 200 free – 2:05.92
- 500 free – 5:33.66
- 1000 free – 11:28.30
Also competing for Seminole High School, Germosen is a six-time Florida 3A Region 7/8 Championship finalist. She placed eighth in the 200 free and 13th in the 50 free as a senior while taking 10th in the former as well as 11th in the 100 fly during her junior season.
Under head coach Kevin Woodhull-Smith, Barton won the Conference Carolinas Championship crown in 2021.
