BARCELONA, Spain, December 16. BORJA Iradier, the king of the breaststroke in Spain, broke his record in the 100 short course event at the Spanish Championships held in Barcelona, Spain on Dec. 16.

Iradier broke the minute-barrier for the first time in the event with a 59.22 to shave nearly a second off the 1:00.04 he notched on Dec. 17, 2005.
