Industry News: Waterproof Electronics Releases Waterproof Mp3 Player

CAMARILLO, California, July 16. THERE is a new company breaking into the swimming and water sports world by the name of Waterproof Electronics, Inc. Through their website H2o My Music (www.h2omymusic.com); they provide exactly as the name implies, waterproof electronics, such as: waterproof Mp3 players and waterproof headsets. While there has been much hype around H2o Audio and their recent Michelle Phelps endorsement, Waterproof Electronics Mp3 players use no case and there is virtually no difference between a waterproofed player and a non waterproofed player. That being the case or lack thereof, there is no risk of damaging your Mp3 player as the waterproofing leaves it 100% waterproof, more resilient to heat, cold, and internal damage, and compatible with all accessories designed for it.

In order to provide superior internal waterproofing, the company has teamed up with Swimman, Inc., a developer of advanced internal waterproofing technologies.
This July Waterproof Electronics launched its first waterproof mp3 player and waterproof headset, the Waterproof Coby MP550 Micro-Clip Mp3 Player and the Vapor Waterproof Headset. The idea behind waterproofing an already existing mp3 player was to give an mp3 player that people already know an extra capability that allow it to be used for a greater number of purposes. The Coby Mp3 player was chosen to be waterproofed because it is small, light weight and simple to use.

The company has also launched the Vapor Waterproof Headset which was designed to have universal use, look stylish, have a comfortable fit, and block out water. The earbud design allows it to fit snugly and comfortably in earn canal to keep out water while providing quality sound isolation. The secure fit is strong enough to keep water out while performing water related activities such as swimming and surfing. Unlike other waterproof headsets that are designed specifically to attach to goggles, sit in a functional position just for swimmers, or designed in a way that only is compatible with the device it comes with, the headset's universal design allows it to work with any mp3 player and have a hanging position like regular headphones. The design allows people to use the Vapor Waterproof Headset as a regular headset without bringing to much attention to oneself.

The Waterproof Coby MP550 Mp3 Player retails for $99.95 and the Vapor Waterproof Headset retails for $49.95. The Mp3 player and headset can be purchased together for $149.95, making it the lowest priced internally waterproofed Mp3 player on the market. Its price was a key component of Waterproof Electronics development of the waterproof Mp3 player and headset. The company wanted to create a valued and trusted waterproofed product which was more versatile than its competitors at a price more people could afford, giving it a bigger bang for its buck.
