Industry News: Universal Sports Announces Broadcast Schedule for Berlin Stop of FINA World Cup

LOS ANGELES, California, November 12. THE 2009 Swimming World Champion with five gold medals, Michael Phelps returns to the pool after competing in Stockholm as Universal Sports provides coverage of the fourth portion of the FINA World Cup, starting Saturday from Berlin, Nov. 14 – 15 from 6 – 7 p.m. ET. Three-time Olympic gold medalist Rowdy Gaines will call the action for Universal Sports.

Top competitors to watch out for in Berlin include Americans Peter Marshall and Jessica Hardy who are both breaking records consistently and leading the series. Other upcoming American rookies with medals from Stockholm include Lauren Driscoll, Adam Mania, Amber McDermott, Kyle Whitaker, and Melissa Franklin.

Taking place in five cities on three continents, Universal Sports and UniversalSports.com will feature coverage of this major short-course (25m) competitive circuit. The last stop left on the FINA World Cup series include is Singapore (Nov. 21-22).
