Industry News: TYR Hiring Promotional Team and Athlete Coordinator

HUNTINGTON BEACH, California, August 18. TYR Sport, Inc., the largest privately held performance swimwear manufacturer in North America, and a proud sponsor of many elite professional competitive swimmers, has an opportunity for a Promotional Team and Athlete Coordinator. In short, the position will be responsible for executing and managing all team sponsorship related efforts and coordination of all swim and dive athlete related needs and schedules.

Functions:
• Execute existing and new promotional programs and identify future promotional opportunities.
• Develop and maximize relationships with all current contracted coaches, swimmers and dive athletes by managing schedules and meeting product needs.
• Increase brand visibility by promoting brand to potential athletes and teams.
• Elicit product feedback from the field and communicate findings to management.
• Travel to key swimming events and coaches' clinics for sales and promotional efforts.

Required Skills/ Qualifications:
• Intimate knowledge of and experience with competitive swimming community.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proven experience in providing exceptional customer service.
• Willing to travel up to 50% of the time and willing to work additional hours.
• Proficient in Microsoft office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
