Heat Sheets Available for Day 5 Prelims of 2017 FINA World Junior Championships
Check out the heat sheets for the fifth morning of competition at the 2017 FINA World Junior Championships in Indianapolis. Competition begins at 9am EST.

The scheduled events for day 5 prelims are the heats of the men’s 100m freestyle, women’s 100m butterfly, men’s 400m IM, women’s 50m freestyle, men’s 50m breaststroke, women’s 4×100 freestyle relay, and women’s 1500m freestyle.
Hungary’s Nandor Nemeth, who helped lead Team Hungary to victory in the men’s 4×200 freestyle relay, leads the way in the men’s 100m freestyle as the top seed. Daniel Krueger holds the top seed time for the USA.
World Junior record holder and gold medalist in the women’s 50-meter butterfly Rikako Ikee looks to continue her domination in the butterfly events as she takes on the 100-meter distance. She holds the top time by about a second and a half. She also holds the top seed in the women’s 50-meter freestyle.
100-meter freestyle winner and championship record holder Freya Anderson will look to challenge Ikee in the shorter sprint event.
Spain’s Andrea Galisteo Zapatero holds the top seed in the women’s 1500-meter freestyle by seven seconds. Team USA has no one entered.
