Hawaii Lands 2022 Verbal From Futures Qualifier Kailee Chow of Fullerton Aquatics Sports Team
NEW COMMIT: The University of Hawai’i at Mānoa has gained another verbal commitment for the 2022-23 season and beyond from Futures qualifier Kailee Chow out of Fullerton, Calif.
She will join Lola Davison of England as a member of the Bows’ Class of 2026.
Regarding her commitment, she said:
“I am thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to continue my swimming and academic career at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa! A big mahalo to my family, friends, teammates, and coaches for supporting and helping me along the way! I can’t wait to be a part of such an amazing ohana as a rainbow wahine! GO BOWS!!!!????”
A talented butterflyer and freestyler, Chow does her club swimming with Fullerton Aquatics Sports Team and earned a pair of best times at the TYR 18&U Spring Cup – Irvine in April where her highest finish was a 13th-place showing in the 400m free. She also flew to 13th in the 200 fly at St. George Sectionals in March.

- 100 fly – 55.74
- 200 fly – 2:03.75
- 50 free – 24.94
- 100 free – 52.96
- 200 free – 1:53.09
- 500 free – 5:01.81
- 1000 free – 10:22.11
- 200 IM – 2:07.88
- 400 IM – 4:32.28
A rising senior at Sunny Hills High School, Chow finished ninth in the 500 free at the CIF Division 1 Section Championships this past season. As a freshman, she raced to fifth in the 200 free and 10th in the 100 free at the CIF DIII State Championships.
Chow is a big get for Hawai’i, as she would’ve scored in the A-final of the 200 free, 500 free, 100 fly, and 200 fly at the 2021 MPSF Championships.
