2017 Men’s Ivy League Day 2 Finals – Results

500 Free:

First and second place in the 500 free were only separated by .06 as two Harvard teammates battled it out for the win. Brennan Novak out-touched his teammate for the gold in 4:18.93. Logan Houck took a close second in 4:18.99 and Columbia’s Michal Zyla finished third in 4:20.40.

Also of note, Yale’s Kei Hyogo, who took second in this event last year, dominated the B-Final. His final time of 4:16.71 would’ve won the entire event by over two seconds. His swim broke the previous pool record set back in 1980 and was a half second off the meet record.
