Austin, TX – Austin Trinity Aquatic Club senior Hannah Rowley has committed to swim at University of the Incarnate Word in the 2017-2018 season. Rowley is excited to take her swimming career to the Cardinals’ Barshop Natatorium in San Antonio, TX.

UIW Head Coach Phillip Davis is certainly looking forward to the contributions Rowley will bring to his Cardinals. Davis will surely be pleased with Rowley’s 5:04.72Y 500 free, 59.54Y 100 back and 2:07.30Y 200 back. To top that, Rowley confirms that she is only getting faster as she has recently returned to training with Coach Doug Russell of Austin Trinity Aquatic Club. Rowley trained under Russell in the past and is again seeing the success and speed she previously achieved when training with Russell. Rowley also swam at Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville, TX.

“I am beyond excited with my commitment to UIW. I chose UIW because I immediately felt a strong connection with the team and coaching staff. UIW is a great school for me academically and I cannot wait to see what the next four years have in store for me,” Rowley said regarding her commitment and added, “Word up and go Cardinals!”

UIW men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams compete in Division I Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA).
